About Invicta
For well over a century-and-a-half, Invicta (the name is Latin for "invincible"), has been producing fine quality Swiss timepieces and making them available at a surprisingly affordable cost. The company traces its roots to the small Swiss village of La Chaux-de-Fonds where, in 1837, founder Raphael Picard began turning out modestly-priced pieces of exceptional quality, and found himself competing successfully with higher-priced Swiss watchmaking giants. Invicta's reputation grew steadily over the years. The company nearly faded from view in the early 1970s, when the new quartz watches were all the rage, but descendants of the Invicta family reestablished the brand in 1991, and its popularity among watch collectors flourished.

True to its roots, Invicta continues to create beautifully designed and expertly crafted watches, using Swiss-made movements and high-quality materials like anti-reflective sapphire crystals. Among Invicta's innovations are the first combination platinum and 18 karat gold watch ever produced and a limited edition Subaqua Noma watch featuring a genuine meteorite stone dial.
