Amazon.com Product Description U.S. Divers offers a variety of fin styles to meet the needs of water sports enthusiasts whether they're diving, snorkeling, tube fishing, body surfing, or having fun in the pool, and the Hydrosplit fin is among the best. The Hydrosplit is distinguished by its patented Nature's Wing split blade technology, which reduces drag while increasing lift and propulsion, resulting in a more efficient kick. The beautifully designed, dual-composite split blade fin also offers excellent power compared to other fins, with a little contemporary style and flare thrown in for good measure. And thanks to the co-molded flex zones, the fin cups and channels water with ease. Other details include a super-soft and comfortable foot pocket, and adjustable foot strap, and a translucent blue color with black highlights. The fin, which doesn't require dive boots, comes in two sizes: S/M (5 to 8-1/2) and L/XL (9 to 13) and includes a mesh gear bag. The Hydrosplit is also backed by a two-year limited warranty.

OK fin August 21, 2007 1 out of 2 found this review helpful
The strap is no good compared to a boot fit fin and can become irritating. they only allow a certain level of thrust before you are just waisting energy (not made for hard thrusts or fast swimming). OK for training fins or minimal usage. The best fitting fins are the ones without straps, just get 1 size smaller that land shoes so they fit snug and don't chafe yout heels.
Very comfortable July 14, 2007 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I found these fins very comfortable for snorkeling. They fit well even without diving boots. They are actually better without them, as they tend to be a little tight if you wear boots.
Great Snorkeling Fins June 7, 2007 5 out of 5 found this review helpful
I used these fins to go snorkeling in Hawaii and my feet never cramped up and never hurt from these fins. Dive boots are not needed. These fins are a great workout for your legs as well.
SUCKS May 7, 2007 2 out of 12 found this review helpful
Unless you were size 9 or less do not order these. I were 11 and they barely fit without boots, if i put on the boots i can't feet even my fingers in them
swim fins March 8, 2007 6 out of 6 found this review helpful
I use the fins every day to swim laps at our local pool, and in one month have seen a big change in the tone of my legs. I really like the open heel on the fins and would buy this product again.
