Editorial Reviews:
Amazon.com Product Description U.S. Divers pulls from its longtime diving heritage and expertise to produce the Purge snorkeling and diving boot, a must for water enthusiasts who want to keep their feet feeling fine while wearing fins. Each low-cut boot features a 3 mm neoprene upper and 5 mm inner sole, which are sturdy and comfortable enough to cushion the feet without feeling bulky. Users will also appreciate the vulcanized rubber sole, which includes a puncture-resistant layer and low-profile grip pads. And thanks to the rubber toe and heel cap, wearers will enjoy a little extra protection against a fin's coarsest surfaces. As a final bonus, the Purge lets users expel water at the heel with a simple push. Available in adult sizes 5 to 13, the black Purge low-cut diving boot carries a two-year limited warranty.

Worth the money August 10, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
These are somewhat comfortable and fit well (but they are men's sizes, so beware).
I plan to wear them to a theme park and other places my feet may get wet.
They are the best water shoes. The sole is rubber, not neoprene so they will do fine on rocks.
They are a bit warm.
Divers booties March 13, 2008 I used the boots on a trip to Costa Rica. They were extremely comfortable and durable. In addition to using them with fins while diving, I also hiked several miles through the jungle and at another time a mile over volcanic rocks along the shore. They did not rub my foot in any area and did not slip on my foot. I had ordered a size smaller than normal and was glad for that. They still look like new. Great product.
Comfortable, but not for extended use August 14, 2007 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
I bought these for my trip to Bonaire since the boots I use in Monterey are heavier than I needed or wanted for warm water. They fit great (no size issues whatsoever) and the purge in the back was a nice feature and worked well.
The only problem that I had was the pull tab at the back chaffed my skin raw above my ankles. Granted, I used them for 3 to 4 dives per day over several days before this happened. In the end I folded the tab down behind the heel and held them down with my fin straps so I could give my scabs time to heal. I will be removing the tabs later this week so I can continue to use them for all of my warm water trips and pool work.
Long story short - great boots, but remove the ankle tabs (or replace them with a fabric loop that hangs down).
Water Shoes May 12, 2007 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
I have had these shoes before and liked them. That is why I searched for a company that sold them. They came quickly and look good
They run really big February 14, 2007 4 out of 4 found this review helpful
I bought these shoes in my regular size, they were really big. I started the return with Amazon and there is no option for wrong size. So they were going to charge me for return shipping and since I bought it on free shipping I was going to be charged part of that too. It wasn't worth returning them. The shoes seem like they're ok but get em a size smaller then you think you need.
