This is a great product for a reasonable price. It shipped quickly and arrived in perfect condition.
The pad itself installs easily. All you need to do is remove the buttplate and install the pad using the screws that previously held on said buttplate. It can be installed in a few minutes with a standard flat-head screwdriver.
Once you shoot with the pad on, you'll wonder what took you so long to buy one. It reduces the Mosin Nagant's shoulder-dislocating kick to something resembling more of a firm, squishy push. The pad doesn't move around at all when shooting and doesn't significantly change your rifle's dimensions (it adds about an inch in the stock).
On top of it all, it looks pretty darn cool.
