3 out of 5 stars Works Well, But Difficult to Install   November 14, 2008
I agree completely with "Eco Geek." This product works very well, but the seal replacement procedure was time consuming, messy, and got glue all over my suit. If I had to do it again, I could do a much better job. However, just like Eco Geek, next time I'm just going to spend the extra bucks and have a professional do it.

Okay, I tore my last neck seal on a liveaboard and missed 2 days of diving, so I bought a couple of these. I installed the first one 6 months ago and it still works, the other is in my save-a-dive kit.

I'm pretty handy, but after spending a few hours doing it myself, fighting wrinkles and lifting edges and getting glue all over my very spendy drysuit, I will NEVER AGAIN complain about my local diveshop charging $80 for a seal replacement! They guy down there does a couple of them each week and has gotten much better at it that I'll ever be.

The one I did has held up for dozens of dives, so it DOES work, but I don't think it's worth the hassle to save a few bucks. (definitely worth it to save a few dives on a live-aboard though!)
