Great Kayaking Glove June 14, 2007 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
This is my first kayaking glove. I've been very happy with these and my half finger gloves from Harbinger. I've been having trouble with numbness in my hands. Had this problem before getting gloves and thought they may solve them. Pros: Protects the palm of your hands. Also this helps in sun protection. Being from California you really have to think about skin cancer risk to all exposed skin. Cons: None, but they did not solve my numbness problem. My hands don't get as cold, but they still get numb. Will have to check into bent blade paddle to see if that helps... lol
Lastly: Don't wear if you launch from sandy beach into the surf. The sand will get trapped in the gloves. Found this one out the hard way. Now I launch first and put gloves on after I'm in the water...
Excellent fit, comfort, and value January 30, 2006 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
Nicely designed pair of very affordable gloves... they seem to have gotten this right.... XL a good XL fit... they even have XXL which are huge. Very nice for the money.
