The Swimmer's Snorkel allows swimmers to concentrate on body balance, head position and stroke technique by eliminating the breathing cycle rotation. Breathing through a snorkel increases the capacity of the lungs to expel air, required for optimal intake of oxygen.Training Benefits: The Swimmer's Snorkel Allows the swimmer to keep their face down in the water and concentrate on their stroke. This a great way to improve on stroke mechanics. With significant training, proper stroke technique, body position, balance, and streamline positioning can be committed to memory. Useful for both Freestyle and Butterfly. Increases lung capacity and aerobic conditioning. The distance the air has to travel to get to and from the lungs is increased by the length of the snorkel. This forces the swimmer to develop a stronger inhale and exhale while swimming. As the lungs develop, fewer breaths will be needed for each lap, which will reduce times. Used and endorsed by many top swimming coaches and programs. The Swimmer's Snorkel is also available in a Junior version in our Kids Department.

The swimmer's snorkel works great; although, the purge is not always effective. I like to use the snorkel to minimize my exposure to clorine, both in my nose and in taking breaths so close to the surface of the water.

This Finis center mounted snorkel is a very good product. It does exactly what I had hoped for. I can swim and breathe easier w/o having to move my head. The side mounted ones just did not work. The quality of the product is also very good. A little expensive but worth it.

I am not an expert swimmer or an expert on swimming gear but I love this snorkel. Using it has increased my enjoyment greatly. In addition to using it for lap swimming I also plan to use it for snorkeling in the local rivers.
