Product Description - Cleans lens surface of chemicals and dirt- Helps keep lenses clean- 2 oz. plastic spray bottle
Amazon.com Product Description Use this spray on swim goggles, ski goggles, sunglasses, and any other sport glasses to remove dirt and chemicals from the lens surface. The 2-ounce plastic spray bottle will fit perfectly in your bag to the pool or beach without spilling About Speedo In 1914, Speedo was founded in Australia by Alexander MacRae, a 22-year-old Scottish immigrant who arrived in the country in 1910. The company began when MacRae Hosiery manufacturers, established by Alexander in 1914, extended the manufacture of underwear to swimwear and became MacRae Knitting Mills. A naming competition was held by the staff in 1928 and won by a Captain Parsonson, who coined the slogan, "Speed on in your Speedos." In 1929, the first swimsuits were in production and it didn't take long for Speedo to successfully establish itself. World War II caused the brand turn over 90% of it's manufacturing to war production, providing the armed services with vital equipment such as mosquito nets. After the war, Speedo opened a new factory and was able to re-establish itself, due to increased demand for swimsuits. In 1951, Speedo Knitting Mills (Holdings) Ltd, was incorporated and became a publicly traded company on the Sydney Stock exchange. Speedo hit the international stage in earnest, at the 1956 Melbourne Olympic Games, and a few years later the brand grew on a more global scale. Export sales to the USA began and an international division was set up to monitor trade in New Zealand, Japan and South Africa. The expansion of the brand continued, and in 1976, Speedo was appointed as the official swimwear for the 1976 Montreal Olympics, where 52 out of 54 countries wore their swimsuits. Speedo continues to make its mark in the pool and on the beach today. Many world class athletes who wear Speedo include U.S. phenomenon Michael Phelps, legendary Australian swimmer Grant Hackett, world record holder Kosuke Kitajima from Japan, and Holland's Inge de Bruijn. anti empanante August 13, 2008 excelente producto de olor un poco fuerte, pero tolerable. muy bueno para evitar el ahumado de los lentes...
Good product, bad service July 12, 2008 0 out of 2 found this review helpful
I use them for swimming in the pool, and they are fine. I spray them on, give a quick rinse, then dry the googles, except for the lenses.
I ordered 3 from amazon. One leaked. I complained in several emails. They never replaced the bad bottle.
didn't work as I had hoped December 11, 2007 2 out of 5 found this review helpful
I bought the anti-fog spray for my glasses when I play tennis. I sprayed my glasses and had a hard time cleaning the glass after I sprayed. And my glasses fogged up almost as badly as before I used the product. Bummer
Not as good as other products available September 20, 2007 5 out of 5 found this review helpful
This spray is frustrating, more difficult to use than liquid drops products because of the "allow to airdry" part of the instructions. This doesn't allow me to use it last minute before getting in the water, and thinking ahead isn't always my strong suit! :) If I don't allow to airdry, it is almost useless.
The spray isn't as good as the various liquid drops I've used, but is definitely better than nothing. It seems to work pretty well for the first 1/4 mile swim (ocean) but then I have to wet my goggles every 1/8 mile or so to be fog free. I haven't used it for pool swimming, so perhaps better performance could be seen there...
It does seem to work nicely for snorkeling - less exercise means less heat, therefore less fog.
Its better than nothing August 1, 2007 4 out of 5 found this review helpful
It helps a little bit, but by no means eliminates fogging of your swim goggles . . . even when I leave it sit on them for 10 minutes.
