Amazon.com Product Description Make a fashion statement as you cut through the water with the competition-quality, pastel-colored Women's Vanquisher swim goggle from Speedo. The anti-fog, polycarbonate lens is shatter-resistant, has a pearlescent mirrored finish, and is UV protected. The soft silicone lens gaskets sit in a low profile on your face and offer cushioned protection. For a more comfortable swim and to avoid water intake, choose the right size of nose piece from the three provided. Speedo's line of competition swim goggles are designed for the serious competitor. Made from the highest-quality materials available, their low-profile design will give any swimmer the competitive advantage. About Speedo In 1914, Speedo was founded in Australia by Alexander MacRae, a 22-year-old Scottish immigrant who arrived in the country in 1910. The company began when MacRae Hosiery manufacturers, established by Alexander in 1914, extended the manufacture of underwear to swimwear and became MacRae Knitting Mills. A naming competition was held by the staff in 1928 and won by a Captain Parsonson, who coined the slogan, "Speed on in your Speedos." In 1929, the first swimsuits were in production and it didn't take long for Speedo to successfully establish itself. World War II caused the brand turn over 90% of it's manufacturing to war production, providing the armed services with vital equipment such as mosquito nets. After the war, Speedo opened a new factory and was able to re-establish itself, due to increased demand for swimsuits. In 1951, Speedo Knitting Mills (Holdings) Ltd, was incorporated and became a publicly traded company on the Sydney Stock exchange. Speedo hit the international stage in earnest, at the 1956 Melbourne Olympic Games, and a few years later the brand grew on a more global scale. Export sales to the USA began and an international division was set up to monitor trade in New Zealand, Japan and South Africa. The expansion of the brand continued, and in 1976, Speedo was appointed as the official swimwear for the 1976 Montreal Olympics, where 52 out of 54 countries wore their swimsuits. Speedo continues to make its mark in the pool and on the beach today. Many world class athletes who wear Speedo include U.S. phenomenon Michael Phelps, legendary Australian swimmer Grant Hackett, world record holder Kosuke Kitajima from Japan, and Holland's Inge de Bruijn. What's in the Box? Women's Vanquisher swim goggle, three interchangeable nose pieces, printed instructions in English, French, and Spanish

The Goggles That Never Quit February 21, 2010 Addison Bailey (Malibu, CA USA) The Speedo vanquisher googles have always been my go-to since I started swimming in 7th grade. Now I'm a collegiate water polo player and I still use these goggles. They're comfortable, durable, and stylish. They've survived outdoor pools and indoor pools, being stepped on multiple times, and being jostled around in my swim bag. I'd recommend these goggles for anyone. However, I would caution the green color because the lenses are really, really green. A more neutral color like light blue or light green avoids that problem.
Could be a little bigger February 20, 2010 Whitney Lassini I like these goggles. They fit snuggly around my eyes and keep the water out. However, I have a large head and the strap on these is just a little tight.
Am I doing this wrong? February 20, 2010 Stacy This is my second pair of these goggles. They are perfectly fog-free for about the first 2 wks of use (about 12 hours total swimming) then they start to get foggy... I rinse them in cold water after each swim.
I do love how they fit though - they stay snug and are fully adjustable. I love that they come w/ 3 nose pieces for different size faces - that gives them an extra star in my book.
Best goggles I've owned November 14, 2009 Suzanne Gates (New Mexico, USA) I've worn Vanquisher goggles for at least five years. They fit well, resist breakdown, and never leak. They do consistently leave marks around my eyes no matter how I adjust them. That could just be my physiology. Small price to pay for excellent underwater vision.
I Really Wanted to Like These Goggles-Blue Vanquisher November 7, 2009 E. Chow (New York, NY) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I am a beginner swimmer and really wanted to like these goggles, which I've owned for a week and used four times. I'd heard and read so many wonderful things about the Vanquisher that I didn't feel like I needed to spend much time deciding on which goggles to buy. I was wrong.
Pros: the straps are easy to adjust but not so easy that they'll un-adjust themselves; it's comfortable to wear (getting them on is a little challenging for me); it comes with three nose pieces for a customized fit.
Cons: it leaks just a tiny bit. Maybe I am not using the right nose piece; it also fogs. This is a major problem for me because I cannot wear contact lenses, so I'm already swimming a little blind. Top it off with foggy tinted lenses and I'm lucky I don't smash into the wall.
