Product Description
Dome lights can be used anywhere aboard your boat. Smaller sizes are great for mounting over each bunk as a reading light, or in the engine compartment. Larger sizes are great for lighting up cabins. Patterned glass lens diffuses light to reduce dark spots. All lights have a toggle switch installed. The bulb socket is designed to take the commonly available double-contact bulbs.

 Looks Pretty Much Like the Pic October 1, 2008
I was nervous about ordering this because I read the other comment about getting a bulb that was different than the one pictured. So I dug around and found a manufacturer's product catalog and decided that this really had to be the right bulb for me (I needed the two-prong model). I needed 20W, which is how this product is listed, and how it arrived, but the picture shows a similar bulb in 5W.
In any event, all is good here. I had one problem, where one of my two-packs had only one bulb, but Amazon is going to replace that.

Hey people! WARNING: the bulb shown in the photo is NOT the actual style of this bulb. If you go by this photo as an aid in buying the correct bulb - like I did, then you'll end up with the wrong bulb for your purpose. This bulb has a solid base much like a flashlight bulb.
After purchasing this "wrong" bulb, I searched for and ordered "Ancor 529369" on Amazon.com -> this WAS the correct bulb. (for my halogen desk lamp)
