The custom convertible heel fit system adjusts for a secure fit for bare feet or thermal booties. A Kevlar Quickfit lacing system that doesn't absorb water adjusts freely with frictionless eyelets and easy one-pull drawcord with lace stash pocket. The Sport Amphibian will not come untied and is super fast on and off. I took these shoes on a trip to Corsica. Lots of hill climbing and stream crossings. I'm happy to report that the traction is superior to other shoes I've owned plus the shoes caused no blisters, even without socks.
